How are your prices so low?
If like most people you're more used to paying £20 a kg for your "Branded" protein powders you'll no doubt be surprised at our prices! It's our No.1 Question! Understandably so!
The reality is that whey protein when purchased in bulk in its raw (unflavoured) state costs only a fraction of the price you see in the internet/high street. Of course almost all of the supplement suppliers nowadays have high overheads and advertising costs.
We buy our WHEY/MPI by the ton and operate with minimal overheads ie:
- Small premises (low rent/business rates/insurance),
- No extra staff.
- No delivery/packaging costs/boxes etc (when collected from our premises)
- No flavouring/flavouring processes (our protein powders are unflavoured)
- No merchant account fees (when collected from our premises),
- We engage in minimal advertising (prefering to let the quality and price speak for themselves!)
We pass these and other savings on to you, the customer, leaving you with excellent products at an absolutely rock bottom price!
Are your products TOP quality?
ABSOLUTELY! We source our products from perhaps the finest manufacturers available. Each batch we receive comes with a Certificate of Analysis which is available for inspection at our premises.
Do you offer BULK/TRADE discounts?
No, we're a RETAILER not a WHOLESALER and don't have a bulk discount policy. Instead we've tried to keep the unit price for our products at an absolute minimum ensuring that everyone benefits from our prices! Check our prices against anyone else!
What are your Opening Hours?
We don't have set "Opening Hours". Our products are stored at our premises in The Chocolate Factory in Wood Green, North London. Customers must arrange a day/time they'd like to collect their order. To do this, please phone/email us in advance. See our contact page for details.
How long have you been trading?
We've been operating at The Chocolate Factory since Sept '05 .
How do I order and pay online?
Once you have added all of your items to your basket, click the 'Checkout' button at the bottom of the Shopping Basket page to proceed to checkout.
If you are an existing customer, you will be asked to login using your username and password before you can proceed to checkout. If you are a new customer, please provide all the required billing information and create an account with a username and password.
Once you have logged in you will be taken to the Checkout page.
- Shipping Address
The first step is to select a shipping/delivery address. You can select your default address (same as billing address) or any other addresses that you may have previously setup in your account. You can also add a new shipping address at this point too. - Shipping Method
Having selected your shipping address, you will be asked to choose your shipping method. Use the radio buttons to select your preferred shipping service. If only one shipping service is available, this will be automatically selected for you. - Payment Method
Having chosen your shipping method, you will be asked to choose your method of payment. Use the radio buttons to select your prefered payment method. - Complete Order
Please note that at any stage you can go back to any previous step to make adjustments if needed.
After choosing your payment method, select 'Confirm Order' to place your order.
You will then be redirected to the RBSWORLDPAY Payment Gateway (formerly known as WorldPay)
Are online payments secure?
Yes 100% secure!
We DO NOT store credit card details. This means that nobody can steal your details as we simply do not have them!
We use RBSWORLDPAY as our payment processing partner who use 128-bit encrypted SSL (secure socket layer) when transferring transaction details in the checkout process. This means that no information submitted during this process can be examined, used or modified by any unauthorised third parties.

You can pay by most major credit and debit cards. Your details will be encrypted to keep them secure. Once your card details have been processed by HSBC, you will be able to view an onscreen confirmation that your order process is completed and you will also receive an email invoice confirming your order. Additionally, you will also be able to login to your BULK WHEY Account to view and check the status of your order.
